RHC Assistant Director
Aimee Hillegas
A member for ten years, our Assistant Director, Aimee Hillegas first attended a Ringing Hills Chorus rehearsal following an invite from a church friend, Faye Donovan. She felt right at home with all the welcoming ladies and has had a lot of fun over the years.
As the Assistant Director, Aimee directs the chorus in the absence of our Director. She studies the repertoire of music so that she is well acquainted with all four parts of our songs. Aimee has a lovely tenor voice and also serves as the Tenor section leader and also sings tenor in the RHC quartet, Parlour Tricks. She is also a member of the Music Leadership Team and serves on the Board of Directors.
Aimee’s musical talent can also be seen in the fact that she started playing flute in the 4th Grade and played all through high school and college. She also continues to play by accompanying her church choir on some of their anthems as well as playing duets with the organ. In addition, Aimee loves to play in her church Handbell Choir which she has played handbells for approximately 30 years.
Outside of music, Aimee has a PhD in Immunology and works at GSK in Collegeville in the Toxicology department looking at Immune Safety of new drug treatments.
We are blessed to have Aimee share her many musical talents with our chorus and are grateful she is our Assistant Director.
