Last year we lost a dear friend and long time member of Ringing Hills Chorus. Always in our hearts, dear sister in song.

OBITUARY
Katherine D. (Doering) Lehman, 85, wife of Charles M. Lehman, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2023. Kathy was born near Pittsburgh and moved with her family to eastern PA, Delaware and South Dakota. She was a graduate of The Academy of the New Church in Bryn Athyn, PA, Northwestern University, and the University of Pennsylvania where she earned a degree in nursing. She later earned a master’s degree in education from West Chester University. Kathy and Charles lived in Upper Pottsgrove township in Pottstown, PA which they called home for fifty years. Kathy had a long career in nursing, retiring as a school nurse in the Great Valley school district. She had served as a member of the Pottsgrove School Board and volunteered at the Pottstown Library for many years. Kathy was an active member of the Ringing Hills Chorus, the local chapter of the AARP and the Sassy Scarlets. She and Charles traveled extensively. Along with her husband, Katherine is also survived by her children, Curt (wife Suzanne) and Cassandra Lehman (companion Ephraim Luzon), siblings Barbara Riley (husband Bill), John Doering (wife Christina), Jim Doering (wife Linda), and grandchildren Jessica, Gabe, and Vivian Lehman and Emily Guihard-Ramirez (husband Ishmel). A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Kathy on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Pottstown Regional Public Library, 500 E. High Street, Pottstown, PA 19464. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to the library.
